Ancestors with Prostate Cancer, Leads Children to Breast Cancer

According to new research by Dr. Jennifer Beebe along with team of Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute alarmed a new finding about cancer transmission through genes. He said if ancestors have prostate cancer, then chances are much more in children to get breast cancer.


Jennifer study have given way to new discussion about genetic study on cancer cells. American Cancer Society's representative and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Otis also commented on this new research. Otis confirmed that deeper study on gene level about cancer, lead us to facts that most of the tumors are same.

Tumor cells in body's one organs somehow affects others parts also. Beebe's study proved that if mother have prostate and breast cancer, then children gets 78% possibility to get it.

Doctor published the report on long study on more than 78,171 registered patients in Women's Health Initiative Observational study. It went around for five years till 1998. Deeper genetic study finds that BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes are more prone to ovarian and breast cancers.
