What is Sexual Harassment

Life is just like a ride on a roller coaster where you feel good when seated and going smooth and then you face too many swirls and hurdles to tackle with, sometimes you experience hurdles and learn to tackle them easily and get used to it but sometimes it makes you feel uncomfortable and sick. There are various kinds of hurdles and problems that you deal with, some are ignored and but some are not tolerable at all which includes racism, discrimination, sexual harassment etc.

Harassment is an another form of discrimination which makes one feel uncomfortable, insecure, hostile, and when one get involve sexually and intimidating that’s call sexual harassment, which sometimes ruins a person’s life or make them mentally disturbed with their daily life routine.

Sexual harassment is when someone fools around with you without your will or permission specially the opposite sex. It’s a behavior which comes uninvited, which makes you feel embarrassed and which is not welcomed at all. It’s an unsuitable advantage in return of sexual affair, which is totally rude and unwanted. Sexual harassment can be done in several of kinds which include; unusual stare, push and touch without any reason, being abusive or exchanging inappropriate words, or anything which makes a person feel uncomfortable.

Majority of sexual harassment cases happens in offices and the complaints are filed against man being desperate and giving extra benefits to their secretary in order to start a sexual affair, which sometimes leads the secretary to end her job. Apart from offices it happens in school and colleges, specially the age of 16 to 23. Where the students are desperate to know everything about their opposite gender and they are in desire to experience every experience in their life.

Sexual harassment can be done by any individual, it’s not necessary that only male gender does it, female also does it. It varies from one individual to other and different people have their different ways of harassing. Sometimes I gets difficult to know who is harassing who because of the involvement of both sides, for example two individuals who are involved in sexual harassment they both are harasser and at the same time they both are victims for each other and usually these kinds of cases appears but two individuals are rivals or they want to take revenge from each other.

There are several organizations which are made to help people and sort out the issue of sexual harassment, and there are some individual volunteers who individually try to help the victims but, Sometimes there are several victims who go through a lot of trouble and they are sexual harassed in daily basis but they don’t tell it to anyone, because it gets difficult for them to express their feelings and tell the organization what are they going through, because they feel more uncomfortable and embarrassed to tell their experience to people.

It’s not necessary that only male gender harass the female gender. There is no gender bias system in this activity, even female can harass male, female can harass female and male can harass male too.
